it’s not the first time I’m trying wild garlic it’s not the first time I’m trying wild garlic recipes but this pesto might be my favourite one - with roasted hazelnuts, nutritional yeasts (instead of cheese!) and a lot of wild garlic, foraged last weekend 🌱

add it to pasta or homemade gnocchi, use as a dressing for salad or fresh/baked veggies, add on a top of your soup - possibilities are endless! 😋

wild garlic has so many health benefits! it has anibacterial and antibiotic properties, stimulates digestion, lowers blood pressure, supports our immune system and contains vitamins A and C, calcium, iron, sodium and copper 🌿💪

Mother Nature is abundant in wild plants, flowers, leaves and fruit - let’s look after our enviornment, not damage it and make the most of what’s around us 🌱 you can find food on your walk full of vitamins, minerals and other active botanical ingredients that are cleansing, healing and so much better for our bodies - filled with the energy of the local environment 😌

random thoughts over food ∙ this dinner brought random thoughts over food ∙ this dinner brought to me some thoughts about how much I love creating (and cooking!), how I love experimenting with flavours and have never been hesitant to try new things, new combinations and ideas that some most probably would find a bit strange; I rarely follow a recipe by the book, I try it my way and learn 🐥 It also made me feel so grateful for the abundance of nutritious plants and flavours; and how important it is to me nourish my body and soul… yes, that includes all the sweet treats too 😏 

To add more to that, I think like in the kitchen also in life, being open to new things, challenges and opportunities is so important for our growth - of course, we have our comfort food -> comfort zones, but doesn’t it feel amazing when you step out of that bubble for a bit?! Trust me, if you haven’t yet, it really does and can be fun! To me, it’s also like that feeling after swimming in the freezing ocean, there’s something so special about it. I could list other things too but you get what I mean - don’t fear new things and what sometimes may seem scary or uncomfortable. Don’t stop yourself from truly and fully enjoying and LIVING 🤗 I always hear, if you never try, you’ll never know so have a taste, have a bite, add a pinch of 'that thing' to your life - it’s where the magic happens 😋

every time sun comes out I just crave lots of frui every time sun comes out I just crave lots of fruit & veg 🌞 (not that I don't on other days😋!) we've been blessed with beautiful sunshine the last few days and it makes a huge difference when you can feel the sun rays on your skin again✨
